Friday 17 April 2009 10:03 Since the founding of the network in 2004, ECPYN has grown both in activity and in participants and member organisations. ECPYN is now seeking to establish more professional structures for its network. This requires a board to translate the vision into concrete policy goals and see to it that these same goals are executed with the help of others involved in the secretariat, working groups and of course the member organisations.
By Tongeren, J.T. (Jonathan) van The current board is stepping down after two terms which means the entire board will be renewed. ECPYN is therefore looking for capable and enthusiastic candidates for the following positions:
- President: The president is the leader of the board, he is responsible for the external representation of the network and the proper functioning of the board and other organs.
- Secretary General: The Secretary General coordinates all the correspondence of the network, is responsible for the administration and coordinates the organisation of ECPYN activities by the secretariat.
- Political Secretary: The political secretary is in charge of the development of a concrete and coherent political vision for the network. He leads the political working groups and coordinates the political viewpoints with the member organisations.
- Treasurer: The Treasurer is in charge of the financial administration of the network. He keeps track of the financial ins and outs, monitors the spending of the budgets and investigates acquisition possibilities.
