Jacques Bazen
Jacques Bazen (1979) was born in The Netherlands. He studied Human Geography at Utrecht University. He specialised in regional geography, with an emphasis on historical geography and regional geography of Eastern Europe. At the moment he works as international relations officer and also as a teacher for Saxion Universities of applied sciences in Enschede (NL) and lives in Gronau (Germany).

 
 

Razvan Burleanu
Razvan Burleanu (1984) was born in Romania and has a degree in Political Science and in Security and Strategic Studies. Today, he works for the Parliament of Romania (Senate) and is involved with the European Institute of Participative Democracy.

 

 

 
Leo van Doesburg
Leo van Doesburg (1974) is a Dutch national and the European Christian Political Movement (ECPM) Representative for Eastern Europe, based in Timisoara, Romania. He promotes the ECPM in this region, cooperates with other Christian organisations and participates in panel discussions and debates concerning Christian politics. He represents the ECPM in the region from the Baltic Sea to the Adriatic Sea. You can follow his activities on his blogspot Leo cel mare.

 


Stieneke van der Graaf
Stieneke van der Graaf (1984) is an masterstudent of International and European Law at Groningen University (NL). Since march 2007, she is a member of the regional parliament of the province of Groningen for the Christian Union (ChristenUnie). In 2009 she runned for the European Parliament.

 

 

Arben Malaj
Arben Malaj is formerly the Finance Minister of Albania. Previously he held the position of Minister of Economy in Albania. Earlier he has been engaged in the Parliament of Albania as a Chief of the Parliamentary Commission for Economy, Finance and Privatization. Mr. Malaj has been Minister of Finance and Governor for Albania at the World Bank.

 

 

Auke Minnema
Auke Minnema (1983) is an undergraduate student of History at Groningen University (NL). Auke is former president of the Zwolle and Fryslân (Frisia) branche of PerspectieF. Since the summer of 2008, he is Secretary of Regional Meetings of the ECPYN, and since Ferbuary 2009 he is International Secretary of PerspectieF, the youth organisation of the ChristianUnion of The Netherlands.

 


Vladimir Plamadeala

Vladimir Plamadeala (1976) was born in Vinnita (Ukraïne). He studied Law at Cluj-Napoca University (Romania) and did his masters in International Law at the University of Amsterdam (The Netherlands). Besides his studies he did different internships, fellowships, trainings and graduating progams in Aberdeen, Cardiff, London, Berlin, Budapest, Atlanta, Orlando, Brussels, Strasbourg and more. From 2004 until 2007 he was actively involved in the international relations of the Partidul Popular Creştin Democrat (Christian Democratic Peoples Party - PPCD) and was representative at the Central Election Commission of Moldova in 2001, 2003 and 2007. He worked as a senior Legal Consultant at the Parliament of Moldova. From 2005 until 2007 he was president of the European Foundation of Moldova. Nowadays he works as executive director for the "Operation Mobilization" Foundation. In 2009 he initiated a initiation committee for promoting and developing of Christian values in Moldovan society.

Hans Renner
Prof. Dr. Hans Renner (1946) was born in Prague (Czechoslovakia). He studied philosophy and history at the Charles University in Prague. In 1968, when Soviet troops ended the Prague Spring, he leaved Czechoslovakia and finished his studies at Utrecht university in The Netherlands. At this university he took also his doctoral degree. In 1989-1990 he was professor at Central Michigan University in the USA. Nowadays he is professor in Central European history at the university of Groningen, The Netherlands. Prof. Renner is also visiting lecturer at the 'Netherlands Institute of International Relations Clingendael' and the 'Netherlands Defence Acadamy'. Besides this he often gives lectures at different universities in The Netherlands and Central Europe. Prof. Renner is married and has both Dutch and Czech nationalities.

 
Henk Jan van Schothorst
Henk Jan van Schothorst (1967) works as political advisor on behalf of the Dutch protestant political party SGP (Dutch Reformed Party) at the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy (NIMD). He graduated in History at Leiden University and specialized himself in European Integration. In the beginning of the nineties he fulfilled his military service as non-commissioned officer in the Dutch National Territorial Command, the coordination centre during the Gulf war in 1991. Hereafter he worked at the mission of a Dutch reformed church in Guinea, West Africa. Since May 2000 he worked in the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament (EP) as policy advisor to a Member of Parliament and as coordinator Foreign Affairs for the European Political Group Independence/Democracy (IND/DEM). In this capacity he covered the full range of foreign policy issues worldwide, including strengthening of democratisation processes. On behalf of the IND/DEM he served as senior staff member in the Transatlantic Legislators Dialogue between the US Congress and the EP. One of his professional objectives was to use his experience in foreign affairs and transatlantic relations to help build closer ties between the United States and Europe.

 
Jonathan van Tongeren
Jonathan van Tongeren (1985) is a student of International Relations at Groningen University (NL). Jonathan is co-founder and president from 2004 until 2006 of the Apeldoorn branche of PerspectieF (PerspectivE, the youth organisation of the Christian Union party of the Netherlands). In July 2006, he was elected Secretary General of ECPYN. Furthermore, he was the International Secretary of PerspectieF, ChristenUnie jongeren (PerspectivE, Youth of the Christian Union party) since November of 2006 until january 2009.
