Jonathan van Tongeren - Political Adviser  
  Jonathan van Tongeren (1985) is a student of International Relations and Russian Language and Culture at Groningen University (the Netherlands), communications officer for the Christian Union delegation in the local council of Groningen and writes for several Dutch/Flemish magazines and websites. Jonathan was co-founder and president from 2004 until 2006 of the Apeldoorn branche of PerspectieF (PerspectivE, the youth organisation of the Christian Union party of the Netherlands) and the Groningen branche in 2009. From July 2006 until July 2010 he was Secretary General of ECPYN, completing the maximum of two full terms. Furthermore, he was International Secretary and member of the national board ofPerspectieF from November of 2006 until January of 2009. Jonathan has also been a member of the Board of the Scientific Institute of the Christian Union party and the Advisory College of the CU-SGP delegation in the European Parliament. Since 2010 he is an editor of the Christians in Politics Portal.
